Kunukku is a deep fried snack variety made with the batter of rice & mixed dal. It can also be made with the adai batter along with rice flour,coconut pieces and chopped greens. This is a very quick snack which is perfect for evening snack served with coconut chutney. Lets look at the steps to make this kunukku recipe.

Preparation Time : 10 mints | Cooking Time : 30 mints | Serves : 4
Adai batter – 2 cups
Rice flour – 2 tspn
Coconut, chopped – 2 tbspn
Curry leaves – few
Coriander, chopped – 1/4 cup
Salt – to taste
Hing – a pinch
Oil – to deep fry
1. Take the adai batter. Add rice flour,chopped coconut, coriander leaves, curry leaves,salt and hing to it. Mix the batter well. Heat oil in a kadai.
2. Once the oil is hot, drop the batter in hot oil as small bite size bits. Cook them in a medium flame.
3. Cook till it turns golden and crisp from all sides. Drain in paper towels. Repeat the process to finish the entire batter.
Kunukku is ready to serve..!!
